Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Old bindings - any viable options?

Right then, posted on here a week or so ago regarding memories of how my old skis skied compared to my newer fat ones...

Anyway, this year I have the opportunity to take more than one pair of skis to the Alps without any cost penalty, and would dearly like to take the old boards for a try out. And, yes - the conclusion may well be that they are rubbish and best hung on a wall somewhere!!!

Big question though is the bindings. I didn't want to take a chance on them (Look Forza Pro turntable bindings) - until I see that Look / Rossi relaunched the turntable bindings a few years ago.

Any chance that the older ones might still be serviceable?
Have tried searching for a list of bindings that might be covered by whatever insurance / indemnities the service techies need, but to no avail...

Haha. Trust the people in the other thread. Whenever we do 'long board day' or 'gaper ski day' we always finish the day and think WHY? Damn. It made me waste 7 years on a snowboard. Move on, it's time.

OTHH your bindings will most likely to be fine depending on how they were stored and how much previous use they would have.
