Snow Reports

Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

A snowHead
Hi,
I am a male snowboarder. 42 years old.
Looking to join a group preferably travelling from Scotland but can travel to Northern England airports if needed.
Anytime from early Feb to mid March for one week.
Any country or resort.
My snowboarding mate has a long term injury which prevents him snowboarding. Need some new snowboarding mates in the Ayrshire area.

Hi
Fellow Scot fron Glasgow also looking to get away. I'm 47 and can get around most runs on two planks. Have been known to enjoy some apri ski also. Let me know your thoughts
Bob
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi Bob,
Nice to hear from you.
At the moment I haven't any thoughts other than I want to get away for a week somewhere in Feb or early March.
Probably looking at Europe somewhere. Either on a package deal or a DIY.
I would be happy to share a room or apartment.
I would also be happy to join a group.
I would be hoping to spend no more than £400 for travelling and accommodation costs.
James.

Hi James
I've started at thread on Neilsons forum and its beginning to generate some interest. Plan is to rent a centrally based catered chalet / HB hotel in snow sure resort offering excellent apris ski for those who dare. Hopefully this will allow others to travel independantly from across UK and help to keep costs down. Geneva connections with Easyjet remain the cheapest option with Bensbus transfers making the likes of Morzine, L2A or Val D'Isere attractive propositions. Let me know your thoughts
Bob
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Sounds good Bob. Can you post a link to the Neilson forum thread.
I would certainly be interested in what you suggest
