Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Lessons for a 3yr Old-10/11th December

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Can anyone please help me with some suggestions of where to go in France on 10th December with my 3 1/2yr old girl for a week?

I would like her to have lessons/snow club etc in the mornings so that I can get a few hours skiing in myself. I had been thinking Tignes/Val but the lack of snow in Europe has me wondering what to do. The priority for me is for my girl to spend time on snow to bring her up to speed with her brother (5yrs) who did 2 weeks last year.

It has to be France as following the weeks skiing we have to go to the in-laws near Toulouse.

It is quite hard to find lessons for children under 4, you may need private lessons. I had problems with 3 years and 11 months and eventually they let her join in. Piou piou club will be happy to have her, but very limited skiing. That was in Les Menuires, but I think its quite standard.

I know there is no snow there at the moment, but our Littl'un attended the ESF in Les Gets at the same age.
When asked about filling in the form with regard to age it was suggested by the ESF operative that we adjust his age...

Maybe you could look at the Pyrenees resorts if you are going to Toulouse afterwards. I'm afraid I don't know the resorts there but I thought I read somewhere that the pyrenees had had more snowfall than the alps so far this season.

Otherwise maybe you should wait another week before booking and see where the snow falls as some is forecast in the french alps this week.

Thanks for the replies. Piou Piou club or similar will be fine, I just need to find a resort with one open from 10/11th Dec onwards??

Not bothered if in the Alpes or Pyrenees. The only thing booked so far is a Eurostar crossing, everything else is flexible.

From what I gather resorts in the Pyrenees have had a dump on the peaks, but nothing lower...like everywhere else.

Val Thorens are planning to open a snowgarden for kids on 3rd December. ESF in Tignes are hoping that the Val Claret snowgarden will be open by mid month as well.

I am going to make a decision early next week.
