Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Cyprus - Snow, Sun and T-Shirts

The snow has finally made it across from western Europe to Mount Olympus in Cyprus. 17 Degrees C at sea level and -1 at the top, with 6-12 inches fresh powder overnight. Sun came out at 10 am this morning and was t-shirts all round Very Happy Whilst it will never be the same as being in the alps, had untracked off piste all day with cracking views down to the mediterannean sea for 20 euros and only had to share it with 2 other people Toofy Grin

Great, entertaining little ski area!

For beginners, the warm up is actually finding their instructor. The lesson meeting point is around 500 metres on foot through trees from the rental area and this is the only hint they get Laughing
