looking at going away the 3rd of march for a big end of season blow out.should be about 10 of us going.we vary in standard from good experienced skiers down to first timers.im trying to find a resort that would cover all our needs and have a good apres ski. aslo trying to keep the costings down.any help would be great.ive skied in verbier saas fee leukerbad and soll.think austria is where we will go due to funds thanks.

I suggest Mayrhofen. Plenty for all and great apres. Good value too. The all-important beer index came out at €3.50 for a big beer on the mountain last time I was there. (2010)

Anyone thinking they can ski in that part of Cambridgeshire at any time of year is clearly an overly committed demented XCer. 
If it's cold enough, skating may be more appropriate.

Nadenoodlee, I'm going the end of March £570, catered chalet, carriage, lift pass is that expensive? Err no?! Guess it depends on the OP's budget/definition of keeping costs down. In my experience Soll and Mayrhofen are about the cheapest places to stay + flights, Saalbach on the other hand I've found is expensive unless you go DIY.

Pedantica, March is a town in Cambridgeshire. Probably better known for it's prison than it's skiing
