Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Bergeralm (steinach am brenner) any one been or got any info?

We are off to selva in January by car and I'm planning a stop off within striking distance of the resort. In my research I found this resort that is right on the brenner motorway and about 50 miles from selva. It also offers night skiing, so the plan is to arrive on the Friday afternoon, check into the hotel for a bit of rest and kick off the skiing on the night slope before the real holiday begins in selva the next day!
We done this last year at reith Im alpachtel the night before our ski week in the zillertal valley and it was a great start to the holiday.
Does any one have any info on this resort? Any one been? I Would like to know if the night slope is any good, it looks ok on a few YouTube clips. I've done a search on here and nothing comes up, so any info appreciated.

I guess no one has been as the ski area is relatively small and there are so many other good resorts nearby. It looks absolutely perfect though for what you want. I was wondering who would use the night skiing facilities but it's not too far from Innsbruck for a night out - beats a snow dome. Will be interested in your report .

Good one Onnem. Here's another link on that site with photos of the nightskiing - looks like it goes under the motorway! The poster was anxious when skiing cos of the combination of steep slope and artificial snow.

Nice one, thanks for the replies. I forgot all about alpinforum!
Just looked at the links and the hill looks great for our needs for the night skiing and will certainly beat a night in a snow dome.
To be honest as long as we can get a few runs in, this will serve a purpose for us as its really only going to be a stop off place before the main holiday of 8 days skiing in Selva. However what a great way to kick off your skiing holiday by skiing before you even get there!!
I'm looking forward to this already, I might even be able to get a few gluhweins in!

I just reacted on Steinach. But if it's not that area per-se, I thing there's a few other options that might be even better.

Ratschings, just west of the Brenner Autobahn, on the Italian side
