Because whilst the Sarenne is v. long, the run down from top of Les Arcs is more of a real ski run. For me top of Canazei, 15 minutes from memory and I was skiing like a donkey by the end of it.

From the top of the Grand Motte at Tignes down to Val Claret - didn't stop once (and legs were on fire).
Then didn't rest all the way (apart from lifts - so I suppose this bit is excluded) down to Le Brevieres via Sache and back to VdI. Needed a beer after all that lot. I think it took about 90 minutes - maybe a bit more. 6 lifts in total IIRC

Abricotine from the top down to ardent. Not sure how far it is but my god my legs were burning like never before!

Mine are also Grand Motte to VC but via Genepy (longer than MM but you need plenty of speed on a board so not for beginners) and Montet to Fornet (one of my favourites as always deserted). The top of Le Tour down into Vallorcine is also a good leg burner for a non stop run and I have a vague memory of getting from Roche de Mio to Les Coches, in La Plagne, but there may have been a short lift in that one (?).
Best day out for distance was doing all four corners of the Espace Killy map. We started at Brev, coffee at Tete de Solaise, Leissieres and down, Fornet for lunch, up to Montets then across to Pramecou and Chardonnet before getting back to Brev. It was made even better by Rorie's recommendation for lunch at the Eidelweiss restaurant just above Fornet. I'm sure others have done further.

Probably mine too, non-stop. Was in a hurry to get back to minibus, and it was getting dark. Bumps on the flattish bit were giving the boarders grief.

I must admit that I seldom go far without stopping - my legs won't stand it

Dave Murray - Roundhouse to Creekside quite a few times at the end of the day (although with a lot more turns than Olympians put in)

8 or 9km run in Kappl from top of mountain down to valley floor. Fantastic but tiring.

Argentiere - from the top of Grand Montets to base using Pont de Vue and Pierre a Ric. 2,000 metres vertical.

Klein Matterhorn back down to Zermatt. 7,400 feet of verticle and 10 miles without stopping and on tele skis. Its a good challenge.

Mont du Vallon Meribel at an EoSB - not as long as some of the above but the degree of porridge-ness needs to be taken into account

The 7000 vertical feet of the Aiguille Rouge at Les Arcs was a killer.....Mrs MA and I set off to see how much we could do in one go at normal/fast-ish speed.
By a mile of vertical (5200 ft) I was in a bit of bother - thighs seized up - and just inching along! Had a brief stop and then
completed the full descent.

The Inferno 2006, the most recent year it went all the way from the Schilthorn to Lauterbrunnen - that was 20 minutes for me, though more like 14min for the winner. It's meant to be about 15km. No reason not to try it when there is no race on and the whole track is skiable; quite a nice run apart from the uphill stretch in the middle...

Done Aiguille rouge down to Villaroger non-stop too. It hurt. Though doing the Comborcieres mogul run non-stop was probably more painful

Our instructor took us on this run on the last day of our first week of skiing (that glorious sunny Friday 18th March 2011)... Although the blue run from Les Esserts to Vallorcine was closed, our instructor took us down it anyway... There were a few patches where we had to take ski's off and walk where the snow covering was non-existent.... I can imagine with good snow, that is a great run to do.....
The thing that I didn't get was why they graded it as a blue run as its quite a narrow path with a steep cliff on one edge; comparing to the other runs in the area its more like a red.

Our instructor did the exact same thing with us in my first week skiing, at the start of January 2010... When there was excellent snow!! It was great fun.

As i felt my eyelids getting really heavy i dreamed i was at the top of Everest with a calm BlueBird Day all around. As i started my Track down the white Pow mass below me everything became a blur.
Woke up, smiled to my self and thought Yeah, Nailed it.

Not a piste, But Grand Envers version of the Vallee Blanche, had to take my skis off to walk up the Buvette at les Mottets (by the glacier snout) - Didn't stop all the way as I had to be at work at ten from an 8am bin - Probably 19km and 3000m of vert (you climb 250 from the glacier snout to the buvette so you gain some more decent)

The 13 km run from the Col du Tourmalet to Bareges - it is a trundling green run along the river for half of it though
