Poster: A snowHead
|
Hi all,
Can anyone recommend an instructor at either MK or Hemel?
The lad is a beginner. He wants a programme of lessons so that he won't have to join the first timers when we go to Serre Chevalier at the end of Jan.
Any pointers or advise would be much appreciated.
Cheers

OK; Sounds fine.
I'm at Hemel a couple of days a week (thurs and Sunday); many other other instructors also available!

This guy skianil is quite good I have had a few lessons with him and he knows what he's talking/skiing about. He also has lots of experience. In a fridge and on the mountain

Hillsie, check these out for Hemel: http://www.insideoutskiing.com/
They are rob@rar and skimottaret on this forum and are warmly recommended by many snowHeads. Although their clinics do not cater for complete beginners, I expect (but am not 100% certain) that they'll provide private lessons for beginners.

We no longer provide lessons for beginners, not even through private lessons. In addition to the other recommendations I suggest Richard Featherstone at Hemel - very relaxed style with beginners, so lots of fun.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

Thank you all for the information. I have a couple of options to talk through and will be in touch with the people recommended.
Thanks again
