Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi people, I am in charge of booking a ski holiday for a group of 4 young men, and we have two possible dates the 4th and 18 of feb. We are looking to go for as cheap as possible, would you suggest booking now or go last minute. I'm really not too sure about last minute because in the past i have always booked up early. Any help is much appreciated, thanks. Tom

4 February OK for France - before the French hols start. don't even think about 18th February.....

Have a look at UCPA holidays - through Action Outdoors in the UK. You could get a week all in, full board, passes, tuition (good tuition, including off piste if that is your thing) and equipment for £600 - 700 depending on centre.

But February ain't cheap. You could do it a lot cheaper in January.

Def 4th feb of those two if you are after cheap. Self catered doesn't really get much cheaper with the late deals - right now I can find self catering in flaine for £250, it's not going to drop more than £50 no matter how late you leave it ime. It's the hotels and chalets that sometimes deep discount - so say £600 -> £400 etc. UCPA deals are hard to beat. I'd book now and go somewhere with a cheap liftpass/food - the savings there would outweighs what you might make in a late discount if you plan on self catering cheap apartments.

aj xx
