50 year old only good enough to board the blues but can do some reds looking for buddy to share holiday with.
looking to go weekending 21/22 january for one week.
I live near Hull so ideally want someone nearby that i can meet before for a chat to see if we gel
i know this is a big ask but looking at what the travel agents are offering for single travellers is a very small percentage of whats avilable for 2 people booking.
you must be willing to share a twin room, not bothered male or female
if you cant make that week i am looking to go sometime in febuary and am very flexible on dates
if there is anyone that rents out rooms reading this and has a spare bed i would consider this.

It might be worth taking a look at our chalet, Chalet Campanules - link in my tag line. It's in Les Coches, Paradiski and has some single rooms with no extra supplement. We're full for those Jan dates, but have plenty of space in Feb and March.
Hope you find something that suits. . . .

male, female, gay or straight i am not bothered i am going to snowboard not for sex or anything else that you are trying to read into it.

If you're not already sorted, I'm in the same boat as you, married to someone who just doesn't get skiing, and I've put together a trip for other people in the same predicament. We are going to Meribel on 14th January. £650 inc flights and transfer and half price local lift pass with Skiworld. We all buddy up to avoid the single room supplement - same sex only. So far we are a good mix of male to female, all ages, mainly skiers, couple of snowboarders. Travelling from all over UK.

Hi Andy,
Myself and a group of snowboarders and skiers are going to Courchevel(France) from the 21st to the 28th of Jan 2012. The group consists of mixed abilities from beginners to coaches.
Situated in 1550m the apartment is in a perfect location ski-wise and boasts an excellent standard of facilities(basic but all mod cons). Adjacent to the Les Brigues piste running from 1850 to 1300, it offers ski in/out capability.
It is a short walk (250m) to the new 6-man high-speed chair, linking directly to 1850 and all the main ski areas.
The date that I am going is from the 21st of January 2012 and returning back to the UK on the 28th of January. Currently myself and my friend are based in the self catering apartment, a further 3 sharing would be ideal. The cost works out to be less than £120 for the week.
Flights from East Midlands Airport to Chamberyey £85
Ski/Snowboard Pass for Courchevel is at £190(last time I checked)
If this isnt a steal, then its a deal of the century.
