Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

this was dropped into the reply to another thread - where is the bowl - how deoas one get ot it ( ie which lift(s) ) - as it sounds ideal for taking
my little lad for a run

We will be coming over from Claviere ( probably have to walk - as he will not be able to do the black )

Thanks in advance

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

There's no black involved in getting over to Montgenevre from Claviere, and it's certainly not necessary to do one to get back the other way.

area marked Les Gondrans to the upper right of this map. easy to get to on the gondola then a wee ski down a track to the bottom of the chair lifts that access each sector of the bowl.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks for that forgoet pick one up last time and didnt think to go that far over.

Defo a black run marked off last year , over the top of the slalom start point ( the piste thats seemed to be closed off and used for slalom training ) it split into a Red across the top, and a steep red down, part way along there it has black run makers each side and was a lot steeper
i think thats off the top of col boeuf - which means that we could have done the red all the way and kade it an easier run

Thanks again

Snow is normally very good there too. Was there in mid April last year and it was still all white whilst it was more a shade of green in a few more places in the Alps wink

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

gazza2, The black you mention goes straight back into Claviere. There is a red section involved in the traverse across to Montgenevre (including a wee tightish bit that could put beginners off) but there is no black. When you get to Montgenevre, go up the Tremplin chair then ski the green round the back of the hill back down to the bottom of the Chalmettes Gondola. Up that, out of the gondola station, ski down a wee bit, turn left and follow that trail and you are now in the Gondrans bowl.

How old is your little lad and how good a skier is he?
