Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

big ask - anyone flying back from geneva to stansted/luton xmas

We've got a problem in that grandma at 82 a bit reluctant to travel by herself, but needs to come back from geneva to luton or stansted just after christmas - we have no family available to fly with her at that time - we can be flexible on flights (both days and times) but could really do with a family or couple willing to help her negotiate geneva flightside, be on the flight and get to a taxi the other end - (archetypal grandma and not a character from one foot in the grave)...just a bit worried about travelling by herself.

valais2, good idea to ask here, but if you don't find anybody just ring the airline/airport. Like with children you can normally hand oldies over to the care of the airline/airport. You may need to make out that she needs wheel-chair, but just say so and they'll provide wheel-chair and wheel-chair pusher to take her from you at check-in right onto the plane, and the other airport service agent should escort her off, through passport, get bags etc at Luton. I don't know if they'll hail a taxi for her but they'll certainly take her out to the door. Normally no charge I think

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

wigan, This is what we have done in the past! My mother is also a very active 82yr old and independant! If neither of us are travelling with her, we contact the airline and she is looked after very well! Most times it is with Ryanair as they service our local airport and she has had nothing but the best words to say about their service! Credit where it is due!

EDIT: There is no charge for their service!

Taxis luton airport opened a website and they give information about taxis luton airport. There are a number of Private Hire and Chauffeur services under the Taxis luton airport.

Don't they ask if it's your grandma when checking in, like they do with your cases?
