Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Arrived in Lake Tahoe on Weds and it really ain't as bad as I feared. Skied Heavenly yesterday and pistes were excellent. Alpine Meadows today, bit hard early doors but we were able to get into some of the chutes this afternoon and it was great. One of my group's Katanas a bit redundant at the moment but good times. snowHead

PNW is getting dumped on again as I type - conditions are completely awesome everywhere. It's going to be a wonderful Spring ski season, but winter normally hangs on into early April at least, so more pow days likely.

Some photos of an amazing pow weekend at Schweitzer at end Feb at http://gortonator.wordpress.com/2012/03/13/epic-schweitzer-powder-weekend/

We had a super good month of March (as usual).
Base depths are in the 2-4M range.
The Vail resorts (Heavenly and Kirkwood) have extended out their closings 2weeks.
We have had some recent snow and temps have been below average since.
Finally have a week vacation next week too, and the entire brood (excluding me,a dog, and a cat),
will be in LA!!

Sounds like a fun trip.
And why do people keep going to a place called Death Valley anyways?
Its like eating something called a DeathMuffin, and wondering about the outcome.
Let's hope it is just a little a little green around the gills snowHead
