Poster: A snowHead

Hey, I don't know anything about skis, being a snowboarder myself, and I was recently given a pair of brand new, in packaging still, Kneissl Ergo 4 Cruise at 190cm / 74", no bindings, just the new, undrilled skis. I was just wondering something like these would be worth.

Cut sizes are about (I'm not sure exactly where they are measured, I'm assuming the widest points at front and back and narrowest in the middle) 92-62-91

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

£20 max if you can find a Kneissl fan. Obsolete old tech ski almost straight. No real skier in their right mind would want them apart from retro appeal.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Very strong in their day to, an hotel owner I know voted them as his most tireing skis, having to walk up to the third floor 3 times at the end of the season to drop them tip first on a cobbled street before they would bend to reclaim on his hire stock. Atomic were his favourite only needing once from the 2nd.

However having read the above about the Ergo, a ski by that name I saw in US on test in the early 90s I think by Elan was the first ever parabolic see carver and could be skied in a circle, (62 under foot!). Everyone thought it a joke, a hot dog special, until someone took some on a special slalom track and beat the current time by a second, the rest is history.
