Thread on Epic at moment. What nicknames - common or otherwise - have you heard for the European and US resorts?
(Val Despair, Merihell, Les Manures, etc)
And for the less common resorts how about making a few up?

Not so much a nickname, but people seem to get a "I think I'm very cool" tone in their voice when they refer to "Cham".

PG, Les Deux Alpes should be know as Alp and a half. Risoul is the one-piece ski suit (Nevica circa 1970) capital of the Sud Alpes but I can't think of a snappy nickname.
