Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Knee Deep, if you (or a mod) put a space in before http it will become a magic link.
TwistBarbie, this has to be the prize winner in the 'most succinct post' contest - a thread subject that says it all in 9 words. Brilliant.

TwistBarbie, I had boots foamed - i.e.a replacement liner custom fitted - by Profeet on the New King's Road. They have a good rep.

kuwait ian Thank you for that: as Pascal almost said, unfortunately I have made this post longer than usual because I lack the time to make it shorter.

Thanks to everyone else for the Profeet recommendation. I have bought running shoes from them previously but didn't know that they did ski boots too. Going by my prior experience I'm sure that they'll do a good job.

Supplementary question: if I'm not going anywhere until January should I buy now or wait until the new stock comes in?

TwistBarbie, Profeet's ski boot section is closed until mid/end Oct so you can't buy now. They work by appointment only & they get booked up very quickly. Best you call then now & register for an appointment they'll call you nearer the time when they start taking bookings.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

I've used Profeet and had good results, are there any others in London or the South worth adding to the current list of one.
