Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Quick request on behalf of a work colleague - anybody know of a decent quality catered chalet in Val Thorens?

If it's kid friendly, all the better

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

The chalets in the Balcons have been taken over by Ski Total now I believe. I might have that the wrong way round though, but the contracts for many of them changed at the end of last season.

Hi

Ski Total have a new one up in Balcons, can't remember the name of it. I did a quick run down of many of the chalets here: http://www.skigb.com/val-thorens-chalet-reviews/
I am in the middle of updating the list so pop back.

Cheers

Ski Total are not kid friendly. You can only book a Total chalet with kids if you take sole occupancy or you are talking about a peak date. They do have the best stuff in VT though, look at the Mathilde, Chloe etc. If you DO book a Total chalet for a peak date, not for sole occupancy, kids CANNOT eat with the parents.

Ski World are much better with kids, they have a pile of chalets in the Balcons and even recently took on a small 6 person chalet called Taureau that is bang on for a family group.
