Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The Hochkönig region summer improvements...

Hope all is good out there ... thought I would just give a quick update on what has been going on in our little pocket of Austria ski wise over the summer! As some of you know the HK region (Mühlbach, Maria Alm and Dienten) have received some serious investment over the past few years with the bulk of the cash been spent on snow making, new infrastructure, a few new pistes and some mega new lifts which have removed the need to get a bus between the resorts and also new this year, the need to catch a drag lift or walk across the road! (hurrhaaaa) this now means that our 150km of pistes are 100% fully linked, we have more cannons (although the snow here is generally decent) and on the blue run back to the bottom on the main lift station here in Mühlbach we have a new resturant/apres ski bar opening Very Happy

This is all good news for the forthcoming season and will iron out the last few remaining issues the area had. Ski Amade wise (of which the HK is a part) there has been heaps going on which I will do another post of on in the next week or so when I have all the facts, but all in all the progress is good.

Bring on December...
