Poster: A snowHead
|
hi everyone
I have been a member of snowheads for a while but never posted before! Looking for some advice for my husband who wants to buy his first pair of skis after having rented for past 6 holidays. He skis blues and reds confidently and has some lessons every year, so still looking to improve. He skies mostly on piste but likes to go off the side of the piste, down lift lines and deviate off through the trees sometimes. He is looking at the volkl AC20's, Head Peak 78 and K2 shockwave. Any thoughts/experiences on any of these? Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Many thanks.

brooklandsgirl, Welcome to snowheads. Can you get to one of the snowdomes when they are having a ski test session ? That's probably the best way of finding a ski that suits him. freeheelskier's link above is a good site to buy from.

Try Telemark Pyrenees too ... http://www.telemark-pyrenees.com/
I've had no problems buying skis from Sport Conrad either but my recent experience over the telephone with Telemark Pyrenees was excellent
