Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Special Hotel Advice

Poster: A snowHead
Two couples planning on a 2 or 3 night mid weeker without the kids in Austria or Italy next season likely February, but avoiding Half Term hols.

For this trip we are planning on spending a few quid on a nice hotel with spa, bar etc. Have previously stayed at Mavida in Zell am See which is the kind of thing we have in mind. The other couple have stayed at the Kempinski at Sestriere and enjoyed that.

On my list so far are the two above as well as Hermitage at Soldeu; Kristiana at Lech; and Madlein at Ischgl.

Any suggestions to add to the mix?

At between 460 - 540 euros per night for a double room, it had better be good!

nice topic,We will be in Italy for about 2 weeks in late June/early July before heading. Perhaps we will stay in Australia on 2 or 3 days before and maybe a few days before we fly. On previous visits, we do not plan to stay a lot, but this time we travel with our 4 years and pool etc. and confirmed to sleep the first night as we arrived late.

The restaurant at the Hotel Post in Lech is fantastic, hotel itself looks good.

Hospizalm in St Christoph also excellent.

Could you include France at a push?

If so, this is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in.
