Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Whistler mountain closes today. Blackcomb is still open until May 30th for it's regular 2010/11 season. We went for a little tour out the back of Blackcomb on Friday and skied pow all day. Saturday we skied on Whistler, a few powder turns, lots of corn, lots of beers and mono fun. A few photos from the weekend:

Well it seems like someone spamming the site foiled my first attempt at a reply so here goes again....

Nice pics, even without the hotub ones! - the first one explains why the village was so busy since the lifts weren't! Happy
And it was even better earlier in the week; cold, empty slopes, freshies without hiking anywhere (well a little hikette-traverse from a bit down the Cakehole, and also into Saphire)
Still pretty good today in places, snowing hard at times and even some good powder to be had!

Glad I'm not waiting for Whistler to open for hiking/biking; might be waiting a while for Winter to finally end, and all that to melt Happy

Wont gloat to much, I have some pics of Whistler in Jan/Feb/(Early)March 2005 looking rather sorry for itself!
