Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Mr Technique, According to the last thread, it was shopped. I can't remember the name of the thread, but I seem to remember it didn't contain polar or bear.. summat cryptic I think. Still a good vid though, quite enjoyed watching it again. Very Happy

Ibex, Wot pam w said. Technically, it should be 'shopped, I guess. Which is quite different from the 'shopped' I did this afternoon at B&Q, after which I appear to have acquired a boot full of gadgets which I will just have to play with tomorrow. Very Happy Just thought I'd share... Toofy Grin

Ibex, well in this case it was honest shopping, fwiw. Norwaytv admitted on their Facebook page that the video was a PR stunt.

And the thread is right here:

The rumours of polar bears roaming the streets of Scandinavian countries are greatly exaggerated.

So if you're just off somewhere snowy come back and post a snow report of your own and we'll all love you very much

Of course it's fake. Population of polar bears in Norway, Finland and Sweden is extremely low, and even then, their habitat is restricted to ZOO's Wink There's no polar bears living in nature in any of these countries.... except in Spitsbergen, but that doesn't go under continental Norway Wink
