Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The long-awaited approval of women's ski jumping for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics now looks like a formality, according to the head of FIS, Gian Franco Kasper. The IOC's executive board is expected to announce a decision on women's ski jumping, and most of the other events up for discussion, tomorrow. ...The other events include an Alpine team event, ski halfpipe (men and women), ski slopestyle (men and women), snowboard slopestyle (men and women) and a biathlon mixed team relay.

What a farce - "a purely political question" ??? This should have been in Vancouver. I get very frustrated when politics & sports mix. Ski-jumping is by far a technique and experience sport; just look at the guys that compete today - some of them don't look like they've started shaving and they're certainly not big. Women's ski-jumping has met the olympic criteria for a few years now. Ah well, I supoose we should just be pleased.

p.s. I'm a man

The 'lady' doth protest too much, methinks.

This next summer olympics will be the first games when men and women compete in the exactly same events, since they included women's boxing in the sports programme, so yes, I'm happy they're include women's ski jumping, there's nothing about this http://www.olympic.org/ski-jumping that women cannot do.
