Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does Encamp in Grandvalira (Andorra) actually have a piste?

I have just finished a swing of Spanish (including Andorran) resorts (Grandvalira, Vallnord, Sierra Nevada, Baqueira-Beret, La Molina & Masella.) When I was at Grandvalira, I was trying to locate the pistes for the Encamp sector. However, I don't think I was able to do so. I did go down a piste that was directly under the top of the Encamp gondola, but I'm not sure if it was technically part of the Encamp sector.

The reason I'm interested in this information is that I am compiling a list of all the ski areas (including sectors) I have visited (I'm up to around 300 - I'll be posting them here so I can make sure I've identified the resorts and sectors properly), and if I haven't done any pistes for Encamp, I don't want to include it.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Not been to Encamp itself, but as far as I'm aware, there's no piste there just the gondola over to Grand Valira

Hi swampwiz, there are seven pistes classified as being part of Encamp plus a very small beginners area - when you get off at the top of the Funicamp lift (the cable car from Encamp) it's the area from the Cortals restaurant down in the direction of Grau Roig and then a fairly short narrow blue run, which is probably the run you mean underneath the top of the cable car.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

OK, it looks like I technically did a run for Encamp! Gracias!
