Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Important - There has been a MAJOR change to ATOL bonding

Poster: A snowHead
REGARDLESS OF WHEN YOU BOOKED EVEN IF YOU BOOKED BEFORE 1ST OF MAY 2010, if you are on an ATOL bonded holiday you were covered in most cases against failure of the TO.

BUT now you may not be.

If you have booked a holiday that includes flights and you are travelling with an ATOL holder (if you haven’t, you’re mad) then be aware that from 1st May this year you “will not” be covered by the ATOL bond unless your confirmation invoice includes the following information (regardless of what your TO may say):

This is a major change in policy - you should take note

(Taken from the ATOL web site)
i) The name of the agent and the fact that he is acting in the capacity of agent for the Licence holder [for identified travel services];

ii) The name of the Licence holder and the number of his Air Travel Organiser’s
Licence (ATOL);

iii) The Licence holder’s booking reference;

iv) The customer lead name and other passengers and/or the number of persons booked;

v) The date, origin, destination, time and airline operator and flight number (if known) of each flight booked;

vi) All other elements in addition to a flight included in the price;

vii) The total amount payable under the contract with the Licence holder and the amount paid to date.

PS - Our confirmations have always contained this information anyway wink
