Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Bus between La Tania and Meribel?

Thinking of La Tania for next season but would like the option of maybe skiing down into Meribel at the end of the day, having an hour or two apres there, and then back to La Tania. Is there a bus that operates in the evening Puzzled If not, any idea of how much a taxi might be? Thanks

Buses only seem to operate in the holidays, i.e Christmas / new year and French half term, no idea about taxi costs, latest bus was only about 7pm, regular buses from Courchevel

This season, the free bus ran between La Tania and Meribel from 20-31 December, then again from 14 Feb to 11 Mar, with apres ski buses back from Meribel to La Tania at 1740 and 1935. There is also a more regular, and later bus from Meribel to Meribel Village (which is then a 5 minute taxi to La Tania)

A different bus service (also free) operates hourly between all of the Courchevel stations (including LA TAnia) throughout the day for the whole season - the last bus back from 1850 to La Tania is at about midnight.
