Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Might be. Or it might be 88 or even 87.
Run a big marker pen down part of one edge then rub away at it with the tool. If the ink rubs off evenly then you have the angle correct. If it all rubs off the top edge then make the angle closer to 90 and try again. If it rubs off the bottom edge make the angle further from 90.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

jonsskituning has Atomic skis down as 1,3... so i'm thinking 87º. Can you call the shop you bought them from?

3 seems a little excessive for a freeride ski!
I would call the shop....but they're in Germany. I also wrote to Atomic...twice...with no reply.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Side angle doesn't really matter... at least not for normal skiing. More angle (3-5degrees) makes ski a bit sharper, and edge last shorter time, but in general you will never notice difference between 0, 1, 3 or even 5 degrees. Even top 10 WC racers don't notice difference between 3 and 5, unless course is pure ice
Base angle on the other side is different thing.
