Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Prebooked Ski/Board carriage not honoured?

Has anyone had issues with Skis or Boards that have been prebooked through a Tour Operator, not been loaded on a flight and subsequently being delivered late, to resort or returned home?

Yes, but it was decade ago.

I rented for a day and was refunded the rental charge - keep your receipts.

If you book with a TO and pre book ski carriage, if this doesnt arrive the TO will always pay for rental for the days when you luggage hasn't arrived. Do be aware that they will only cover you for ski's and not anything else that is in your ski bag! Having worked for a TO for many years we get very few cases of lost luggage and more often than not it arrives the next day when lost.

Only in Canada when there wasn't enough room on the smalelr internal plane - a very common occurence apparently with Jazz. We were given vouchers for rental; the skis arrived the next afternoon

While Flybe say that they can only carry 10 sets to alpine airports i had no probelm flying in and out of Salzburg the other week where it seemed that at least 30 pairs had been loaded. I did not see anyone whose skis had not been loaded and I was the last to pick skis up in Salzburg,
