Well the storms broke 2 days ago and we finally saw the sun
Having had fun on our oldish, narrow waisted skis, we decided it ws time to slash some cash,
and have fun in the sun.
Second day after the storms the clear skies continued, we bumped - literally - into a couple of aging californian hippies and boy could they ski They took pity on us and gave us a tour, with the occasional break of waccy stuff.
..
After a quick smoke, we were ready to head off this aways,
They kept showing us the goods time after time, fresh tracks well into the day, it wsnt the steepest, but as they said nice and relaxing in on a great day.
This is day 9 of our trip and having only needed to stop for lunch on one day, its getting tiring now. We thought rich and Libby would need a break, but no they skied from 9 until 4.30 with us in tow. It was a shame to leave them at the end of a fab day. But we needed to move on to our final accomodation in SLC to hit the Cottonwoods. Unless we get more fresh snow it will be doubtful that we will have another day like the last. while the Hipies will continue to get fresh tracks probably all next week But they deserve them for putting up with us.

Looks amazing.
We had a week in Utah 2 years ago and had no powder whatsoever (at Park City, Canyons, Deer Valley, Snowbird and Alta... ) - so just wondering where are you?
