Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Sugarloaf/USA

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hey Snowheads, I'm looking for ski buddies to come out to Sugarloaf/USA for 4-6 weeks in early 2006. The lift passes are cheap, as are the flights out there. I've been out for the last 3 seasons, so can give any info you need (it's a great mountain).

I'm 28yrs old, female (obviously) and pretty easy going. I'm not a social outcast; all my friends either don't ski, or those that do are restricted by the whole 'annual paid holiday' thing. I therefore need a person/persons to mainly help cover the cost of accomodation, and make me feel less guilty about being a ski bum for a month or so. Embarassed

Thanks for reading my post,

Hx

Hi snowgirl, welcome to snowHeads snowHead

Very tempting suggestion: I wonder if Mme Brain would sanction it?
Come to think of it, it's the Brainlets that would probably make the most fuss rolling eyes

How cheap are the lift passes/flights?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

snowgirl, welcome to sugarHeads!

I definitely can't make it, but here's a little photo of our own Sugarloaf (it's in Monmouthshire, South Wales)

Yours is snowier. Have a good ski!

If you buy before October lift passes are $369 - and can be used at several other east coast mountains if you fancy a road trip. There a couple of black out days on that pass - so you can either upgrade or just drink coffee at Java Joes Very Happy

Flights are £300(ish), and accomodation costs would depend on how many go.

Sugarheads snowHead !? - You should definately come out David!
