Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Wanted: 1 bed in Chamonix from 11th March for 3 nights

I have flights booked but can't find accommodation in Chamonix for that long weekend and, trust me, I've exhausted all resources looking. Will consider hotels, apartments, chalets. Doesn't have to be luxurious, I just want somewhere clean to sleep and shower.

Budget is max €100/night.

Looking for something in central Chamonix or Argentierre (so that I have easy access to restaurants for food) and within walking distance of a bus stop for easy access to the various mountains.

Any apartment/chalet/hotel owners have something available?

If anyone is already staying in Chamonix and has a spare bed for those 3 nights, I will happily consider that as an option.

Zero-G, have you tried www.demipiste.com - it's the No Going Back Chalet, about 10 mins flat walk into town. I've stayed there and it was very nice, with a lovely view.

Alternatively, SnowHead David Murdoch has apartments, but they may be too big for you

Hope of some help Very Happy

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks Anniepen, their apartments look good and have contacted them to see if they can do a 3-nighter. I don't normally struggle to find accommodation in Chamonix but that particular weekend is proving to be a bit of a nightmare. Looks like I've caught the tail end of the French hols.
