SMALLZOOKEEPER, Telly has alreay been bought as has the Kinect for the kids!
Boredsurfing, I already have the telephone working, previous owner was English and we did it when I visited in Jan, Elec and water to be done by EA when I get there, Insurance was about £260 done through Credit Agricole who also set me up a bank account and had me online all within an hour!
As to the Taxes, well along with death the are always fairly certain!
Looking forward to meeting any Local  in the near future.

This all came about from what turns out to be a very expensive mistake 
Last run down in April last year I decide to stop and take some piccies of our group, we had already packed up the appartment, so I had our passports et al in my rucksack.
When I said had.....
Got to the car and packed up couldn't find the OH's passport anywhere.
So I went to the Polce station to report it missing and get the requisite forms for customs, whilst I was inside the girls were gazing into the EA window...ohhh isn't that lovely.....and the rest is history!

sbirring, Well by the sounds of it we will be skiing in the same areas!
I will be skiing with the OH in the mornings and my 4 year old in the afternoon, so lots of afternoon blues for me!
