Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi this is my first post. Im a snowboarder from Sheffield. I have boarded on Sheffields dry ski slopes for years and xscape every so often. So far I have been to Austria (Fieberbrunn), Andorra (Pal and Arcalais) and I have just returned from 4 nights in the Scottish Highlands. Scotland turned out to be a washout, due to high winds I only manged to get a half day snowboarding. I'm looking to get out on another trip before this seasons snow is gone. Potentially March will be good although I cannot go in the first week. I think I am only after a four night trip and want to spend as little as possible. I just cannot decide where a good place to visit would be. I was thinking France or Switzerland seems as I haven't boarded either of them yet. Can anybody recommend anything that would be cheap and good? Thanks in advance

DrLazer, welcome to snowheads. snowHead It's peak French holiday time till mid March - best go after that for quieter slopes if you go to France. It can be difficult to find 4 day accommodation in many French resorts - but there are some outfits which do flexible timings. A good one, which a lot of us have used, is Mountainsun who do flexible breaks including airport transfers. http://mountainsunltd.com/

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Another vote for MountainSun.

I go to their Tignes place quite a bit. It's right near the pistes, good food and has all you need for a short break. I will be there for my third trip this year at the end of March.

French school holidays finish the first week in March and it should be nice and quiet after that.
