Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

barry, "does well" is normally reserved for those who didn't win but got close or simply exceeded expectations. Also, why the need for "young" when its a Junior 1 World Championship? Poor headline writing.

Anyway, well done to Jack Gower (again).

Yes well done Jack a good result. Always great to get some titles.
He is currently ranked 14th in the World in GS for Jun 1 (94-95 yob).
None of the guys ranked above him competed at the champs. Most Alpine nations only send Jun 2 racers to compete.

Also have to pick you up on your headline too. He was Junior 1 World champion. There is a vast difference between that and Junior World Champion.

He is a great talent and hopefully he will progress to become world class in later years. Mind you he has an enormous budget behind him which always helps!

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

I certainly wouldn't make that kind of idiotic error.

You'll need to Register first of course.

Not that young either, I was imagining junior 1 was teenies! If I read it right he must be 16?

Congratulations Jack. A win is a win.

Check out the French guy who won outright. Skiing to sub 10 points, aged 19.
Here's a link to his FIS points http://www.fis-ski.com/uk/604/613.html?sector=AL&competitorid=127048&type=result
