Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

According to
the Ski Club Great Britain
Quote:
Ski Club sponsored rider Ed Drake achieved a career first on Sunday 30 January by securing his first ever World Cup points following a top 30 finish in the World Cup Super Combined competition in Chamonix.
The 25-year old ski racer from Kingston, Surrey, came 26th in the combined event, a much needed top 30 finish which means he now has a ticket to race at the World Ski Championship in Garmisch-Partenkirchen from 8-20 February.
So well done to Ed! I look forward to seeing him on Eurosport. (And BBC too for all the people without it
.)

That's a fantastic result, well done Ed!
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Excellent news - is he a 'rider', stange term for a downhiller
Was hoping to see him in action in Chamonix last week however kids had got cold and bored on Thursday afternoon in the cold after long track holds etc. Grrrr, nevermind, saw Cuche and is he a powerhouse of a man or what, fantastic to see them flying down the Verte

Well done Ed, looks like that BASI training paid off
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Is that only for the super combined? Anyone know if theres any British interest in the Downhill? as I'll be in Garmish for the Downhills so would be good to cheer for a British racer.
