Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Which rental shop in passo tonale? How big is passo tonale???

We are staying at the Grand Hotel Paradiso in Passo T, and we dont know which shops to hire ski equipment from. There are a few advertised but I cant make out where abouts the hotel is in respect of the ski rental shops and the resort itself. The hotel is right next to a run, but dont know which one
is P.T a big place or are we OK booking from then shops off skiset.com (Cinto Sports 1&2) and being able to walk to them to get/return equipment
Any help would be appreciated

Passo Tonale is not big, basically all the hotels line along the road (the tonale pass hence 'passo tonale') having said that though you don't wanna end up having to pick your ski's up from the opposite end of the road!
in the past we have emailed the hotel directly and just asked them the names of nearby ski hire shops, has always worked for us!

Jon Ford, as far as I remember there are only 3 rental shops in Passo Tonale. I used the one right next door to the lift pass office.
