Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

4 Vallee Itineries

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Evening all,

I've just returned from a few days in La Tzoumaz and managed to include the Vallon d'Arby itinery. Very good snow although the traverse along to the Col des Mines was rather hairy.

I am returning to Nendaz with the family in a few weeks time and am hoping to do the Plan di Fou itinery (the Nendaz side) and the Chassoure to Tortin intinery.

Could someone please tell me how these compare to the Vallo d'Abry.

I'm a good skier and will be carrying all the appropriate kit with me but I don't want to bite off more than I can chew.

Many thanks,

Hurdy

Hurdy, Welcome to Snowheads.

The Plan du Fou itinery is quite a short run below the cable car. It's not a very interesting run and I only skied it as the way back to Nendaz. The Chassoure to Tortin is a better run and if you're a competent skier and have done the Vallon d'Arby then it shouldn't be a problem if you like bumps.
