Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Where to stay on the cheap in Les Arcs?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi
Anyone know of any ultra cheap and relatively cheerful hotels/hostels/chalets for 3/4 blokes in Les Arcs in mid-March that they'd reccomend? Failing that, anyone got something to rent out!? Although I feel that may be a long shot...
Cheers!

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

joe1890, if you're looking for hostel and cheap then howabout chaletarc.co.uk - 20 quid a night. Bit down the hill from Plan-Peisey but regular free bus routes. You'd need to sort out own flights/transfers etc. If you want more of a package then - http://www.hucksterslodge.com/ski-holidays.asp is next to one of the best pubs in peisey-vallandry..

Alternatively there's quite a lot of smaller flats which might do the trick - for les arcs proper then check Pierre & Vacances, and for Peisey-Vallandry then check out their website at http://www.peisey-vallandry.com/www-accueil-389-HIVER-UK-PEISEY_VALLANDRY.html or phone the tourist office (they speak english) and number at the bottom of the linked page

bertie bassett, great, thanks! I'll check them out when I'm off from work tonight.
pam w, I only thought those in the lucky situation of having an apartment/chalet themselves may have been using them themselves! Plus the price - looking for real bang for buck Little Angel
