Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski hire in Zell am See?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi

Not sure if anyone can shed any light but is there a massive difference (cost wise) in Zell between booking online in advance versus hunting around when you arrive? We arrive late Saturday night (like 10pm) so it is very tempting to book in advance and be able to get straight out on the Sunday morning but probably not if it is going to significantly increase the cost.

We have been recommended Sport Alpin as we are staying at Pension Hubertus and I think they share a building and they also have 10% off if booking at least 2 weeks in advance which would bring the premium set down to 116 euros. However, if anyone has an alternative recommendation we are very open to ideas.

Thanks in advance!

Hi. We have used Sport Alpin before and am also using them this time. I booked early to get the discount and also because I am staying near their shop up at the Schmitten so it is handy for us to pick the skis up. We don't arrive in Zell until about 11 I think so we wanted to be near the shop to get the skis in the Sunday morning and start skiing. I have also heard that Intersport are good. Have a great holiday when it comes. Smile
