Can't go - but nice to see some over 50s like me on here.
I learned to ski when I was 47 and am now nearly 56 and really enjoying it.
I enjoy blacks (steeper the better) and am making progress on powder and moguls.
My knees sometimes hurt but I find that wearing tight neoprene supports with round opening over the knee works well.
Would be interested in keeping in touch with your club.

Chris have a look at this site www.bumpsforboomers.com it might help you with your moguls.
I have no association with the site but found it whilst looking for info for some clients.
Happy skiing

stewart woodward, Many thanks for that, very interesting site.
Looks like I have been doing it wrong so far.
Anyone reccomend a private instructor for me in Morzine to work on moguls?
I never imagined that there would be other old gits on here.
I imagined you would all be 17 year old boarders with inverted baseball caps etc !!

Oohhh tempting, but I don't need the flight. A bunch of SAGA louts on tour or just snow heads in training or . . . . old S.H.I.T.s
But seriously what's the cost sans transport?

Samerberg Sue, have to rethink then, wouldn't want to confuse our SHAGS. You could also have SHAAGGs for aged austrians!
