Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Last night the snow came again Very Happy

today, myself and my 2.5 year old daughter went for a walk with the strange blue bits of plastic on her feet... she loved it!

Yippppeeeeee. At no point in 20 minutes of plodding about with her 60cm planks on her feet did she want them taken off.

She was also very adept at flicking snow at me with her poles.

Then she fell.

Skis came off and we went and played in the snow without the skis.

2 minutes later she wanted them on again.

Hopefully, today was the first day of very many more just like it.

I reckon she'll be going parallel by the time we go to Courchevel in March Cool

She's not quite ready for Cairngorm tomorrow though Cool

It was indeed a great moment. 4" of fresh powdery light snow must seem quite a lot to her.

shoogly, As the most mobile phone phobic person on here the way I do it is to take the memory card of the phone, and put it into the PC - you might need an adapter for a USB hook-up or an adapter that then feeds directly into the SD slot that exists on some PC's. I find either route is easier than hooking up the phone via a cable to the PC and using the phone's software. Once you get access to the card the photo is stored on I have always found it is possible to check through the directories on the card just as though it is another hard drive or CD in the CD drive - you get a drive letter for the card you plug in - and locate the subdirectory that contains the photo files by trial and error if it is not clearly identified.

Megamum, true! But there was loads more than that at Christmas!

I saw a group of Italians today in Crest Voland with tiny tots on "strap on" skis. They had set up a little ski-pole slalom (right in the middle of a piste on very icy snow rolling eyes ) and were yelling encouragement to their offspring. An amusing scene, though I skied very, very, carefully round them all.

I love seeing those tinies on skis. snowHead

When our lad first tried strap on skis, the biggest problem was getting them on him - he was always so excited he couldn't keep his feet still. It's fantastic to see such joy in your offspring.

Give it a couple of years and she'll leave you for dust!

I had a very proud mummy moment over xmas/new year when our little 3 yr old came out of the garden and onto lift. She is very small for her age (wears 2yr old clothes) so naturally everyone was very impressed with her!

No chance of keeping up with the other one though
