The wireless link on my laptop crashed out with 13.999 MB downloaded. I'm trying again using Firefox's download manager and at least that tells you the file is 39.9 MB. Anyway, I've seen a third of it so far and it looks harmless. Just be warned about the huge download.

Pete Horn, how to you et download manager do do its thing? I just get a display of what has been downloaded if I hit Ctrl+J. I have set download manager to come up when I start to download - under Tools|Options - but no joy.

I'm not sure that Download Manager was really that much use. I found it under 'tools'. The only advantage was it gave me a shortcut for restarting the download (from scratch, not from where it left off), and told me the file size.

Pete Horn, Firefox will work with other (better) 3rd party download managers. Net transport is good http://www.xi-soft.com/default.htm. Get the firefox FlashGot extension from Mozilla and the two will work together seamlessly. Well worth the trouble.
