Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Possible trip to Chamrousse on 1st, Bank holiday going to be a problem?

Hi guys this is my first post here and I was looking for some advice,

I'm planning a possible trip to Chamrousse, I've never skied there before and in fact have only ever skied twice in my life before now, Arinsal in 2004 and Flaine in March. I chose Chamrousse as we're on a budget, there's only two us and I managed to find some cheap accommodation there. (about 180 euros for the week). Also found some v cheap bus transfers from Grenoble airport, part of my concern is that they would not be running on new years day? Also slightly concerned that it seems to be a turn up and get on type of service rather than something you'd book in advance.

The only time I could ski this year realistically is this as I'm Student and I cannot really afford to take time of during the term, unfortunately Easter break starts from the 15th April, a bit late.

Any past experiences or advice most appreciated.

Thanks.
