Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone been to Igls to watch the the bob & skeleton ? How do you get tickets or can you just stand by the side of the run ?

Any advice welcome. We're going to be there 14-16 Jan.

Not been to watch, but have actually done it twice. Scared the life out of me. We got tickets from Crystal and they took about 10 of us in a minibus. They use the once Olympic bobsleigh champion as the pilot.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Hi dsoutar/rosemary,

I work for Crystal and our guests can buy tickets either once in resort (directly from the track) or we do organise an excursion to the Bobsleigh track for those who want to have a go or just watch. If you book with us, you'll receive an iPack (information pack sent via email) before departure which gives you all the contact details for our in-resort reps.

You're best bet would be to contact them directly indicating you'd like to go. If you're not travelling with Crystal, you can buy direct from the track once you arrive in resort.

Hope that helps.

Ooops, as usual, didn't put my brain into gear before typing. I was actually referring to the World Cup whioch is being held there 12-16 Jan. The website suggests that it's all free - just wondered if anyone else had been to see a wc event at igls (or any other track for that matter)

I'd love to go down a bob run again but as it's WC weekend I doubt that it will be open to the public. Did the one at La Plagne many years ago
