Planning my second trip of the season in early March. and yes I remember all the tirades last year but currently looking at a deal with Ski Beat to La Tania in Chalet Sapphire, any snowheads with any feedback on either the chalet or their La Tania operation.

We had a great holiday with Ski Beat last year. I would say that La Tania chalets are quite basic and chalet hands/ chefs are ok... You will have a good holiday. Just make sure you always ask for things rather than expecting...
Would be good for thos who are going of TO trips to feedback about this year compared to last year, as things have changed quite a bit in terms of ownership etc...
Have a great trip!

Ended up booking with Le Ski in La Tania. Thanks for all the responses and help. What turned it for me was Ski Beat were flying into Geneva and no ski host.

Too late now, but stayed several times in their chalets in La Tanie - all were very spacious and all en-suite.
Long walk to get to the lifts in the morning though, unless you wanted to ski down a steep drag lift line. Could ski back to them if enough snow via a similar not entirely legal route.

SteveW: if you are in the Marmau it is an excellent Chalet and the creche staff are great. We have been twice and two of the ladies in there (inlcuding the manager, Georgie I think her name was) were there both times.
However, it is a newish chalet and built to modern specifications - solid door and floors. Take your monitor with you if the kids are small - DD (5) last year could only just manage the doors and she had no chance the year before. Food was fine (I did complain the first year as the kids tea one night was egg and chips but no veg. Every night thereafter there was additional side veg with the kids meals, even when they had spag bol!). We even had a choice of rose wine with dinner last year which was a nice change.
You can't really ski out (but the nursery slope is a 2 min walk downhill) but you can ski in (sort of) - you need to come off the Folyeres on the left and follow the cross country ski trail towards Meribel for a little bit and that will bring you out at the apartments above the Le Ski chalets (come of the trail when you get to the hut). If there is snow on the road you can then cross this carefully with skis on and then ski down the side of the track down to the chalet. Even if there is no snow, it is still better to walk down the little way to the chalet rather than walking up the hill from the bottom of the bubble if you ski down the red Moretta Blanche!
We would happily go back but wanted to try a different resort this year as we have now been to La Tania three times.

Thanks for the info. Actually in La Rabel. Not taking any kids just after La Tania because it was a good deal. I was aware that Le Ski use these as family chalets but don;t really care as I'm OK with kids in chalets because I take my daughter every year with Esprit so I'm sure there won;t be any surprises! And I certainly ain't going to big it up all week!
