Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

The ledgend that is Mr Glen Plake will be taking to a plastic slope for the first time ever today in kendal, and in rental boots and skis Toofy Grin Toofy Grin

Cant imagine just how he has managed all these years without the joy of dendex but he has apparently never had the plaeasure before.

...what a truely decent guy he came across as at the kendal mountain festival, Hes also doing a video night tonight and i think there are tickets still available.

Thanks for the tip! We went to the talk on Saturday he confirmed that he try skiing on the plastic in the afternoon. Very Happy
