Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Has anyone done the 5 day off-piste adventure week with TDC in Valdisere?

Any good?

I haven't done the week, but have had a number of private lessons with them and found them to be very good. I would reckon the week would be well worthwhile.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I'll second Dublinfella's comment - not done that course but the private lessons I had were excellent.

No, but to for sure TDC has a good reputation for on-piste tuition. I'm not sure if off-piste is their core of work as it is for TopSki for example. With this company you will be sure to find a team of pros specializing in off-piste guiding, providing you a free ABS and being everyday out of the slope to keep you safe and find the best snow. www.topski-val.com

had my tweens in the teen challenge three day course over Christmas.

Everyone was satisfied, and they had a blast. They aren't easy to please when it comes to ski instruction either.

they are black piste and off piste skiers

Hiya,
had on- and off-piste lessons with TDC in Tignes and have nothing but good to say about them. They will always be my prefered instructors.
Go for it!

They are always top quality and have good off-piste instructors.

Thanks for bringing the Topic forward forwards Kasperski. You must have been rooting around for a Val d'isere based off-piste threads. TDC do have a good reputation and have been mentioned on many threads. I am doing a Ski Club GB off-piste week in Val later in the season and know it is a great area with some good companies. I have been with Ultimate and Snoworks in Tignes in recent years.

Reminds me to book a three day course with them in Courchevel.... unless of course your friends at Topski have a course there!?
