Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ok, I will answer our query myself til someone better comes along. Here is what they say on Facebook-

"The Edinburgh Ski Club was formed in 1966 to promote the sport of skiing (and now snowboarding) in all its aspects for local Edinburgh people. We organise three wintersports holidays abroad each year, as well as day trips and weekends to Scottish ski resorts.

There are currently over 230 members of the Club, and we are always keen to welcome new members who are interested in snowsports! If you have never skied before but want to learn then we organize a series of ski lessons at the local dry ski slope from November to February.

We also organise a wide range of social events, sports, other activities and weekends throughout the year, e.g. cycling, mountain biking, hillwalking, ceilidhs, golf, sailing, badminton, meals and nights out."

And they have a website with clickable newsletter here - http://edinburghskiclub.ning.com/

Would be interested to hear from members though about what they think of the club etc.

Just started new thread asking about "Perth Ski Club" too. Snowsports Scotland have links to info about clubs on their site, but not much detail.
