Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi guys an new face on here so thought i would say hello and as a quick question whilst i'm at it.
I have booked a holiday to Montalbert for the New Year to meet up with friends who will be out there. I was wondering if anyone has experienced the childcare situation in the resort.
I have a 4 year old son and a 6 year old daughter who i want to get skiing and l'm not sure about french run ski schools so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers Kev

drunken rock monkey, Hullo and welcome.

Just waiting for Boredsurfing and his wealth of knowledge on Monty. From what I remember there is an ESF ski school for the minis - but it doesnt have a magic carpet, which the kids love; they have to side step up.

drunken rock monkey, Welcome to SH. There is only one ski school in Monty and that is ESF. The creche is situated in the center of the village with the beginners slope in font of the creche. My advice would be to book over the internet if your going for new year. I would try and get them in for morning lessons you can then get the creche to pick them up if your thinking of staying out on the slopes until early afternoon. www.montalbert.esf.net . I am sure "mouth will be on to give you a bit more info as her 3 yr old "bullet" has had plenty of expeience with Montalbert ESF and the Creche. See you on Monty !!

hiya drunken rock monkey, welcome to snowheads Smile

unfortunately i have no experience with montalbert, but i do with ESF, they were very good and friendly with us, and had my wife who isnt the most confident skier off pisting a little in a week of lessons. only a little mind, but they were brilliant in our resort, so hopefully it is a company trait!

il be watching this post aswell as i want to take my kids next season (3yr 4yr girls, and a 6yr boy by then anyway) and am looking for a good place to start Smile

good luck with the holiday and getting the info you want Smile
