Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Nendaz

Went up to Nendaz this weekend. The weather was nice on Saturday so we tried out the famous and beautiful Bisse du milieu, which runs from below Siviez down to Nendaz

They're man made streams used to irrigate the raspberry fields of Nendaz

Weather changed a bit on Sunday!!!

That is the classic getting overexcited in October photo. Looks like more snow than we had for most of January. Much left?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

gorilla, alas cheating really. I'm standing on one of the doorways into the Barrage de Cleuson which gets all the runoff from the dam.....

Saying that it was snowing all day above 1500m. This morning there was barely anything at Sivez but by the end of the day there was a nice white blanket.

Here's the forest dropping off the path beneath the dam. Horizon enjoyed it in there!

And Millsy walking down the piste into Siviez

We left the chalet at 8pm and the snow was settling on the road. Supposed to keep going tomorrow and colder. Might have to throw a sicky on Tuesday and skin up to Rosablanche snowHead

Curse you and your inventive photography. That said, it still looks pretty good and the pics are bringing back all the right memories.

On the touring front, there is a discussion in Snow for the Euros about the possibility of the Midi right now before it shuts. Might be a better touring option than the Rosablanche, which I could see being one big crevasse right now.
